Faber MAR GEL PLUS is a rust remover for marble and limestone, formulated for acid-sensitive materials including travertine. It penetrates deep into the material, even compact lime-based surfaces with brushed or polished finishes.
MAR GEL PLUS is a unique, innovative stain remover specifically formulated to remove rust stains from acid-sensitive materials such as marble, limestone, and travertine.
MAR GEL PLUS is able to penetrate deep into the material, even into the most compact lime-based surfaces, such as brushed or polished finishes. It reacts with rust to form a purple compound, which is then removed with OXIDANT.

How to use
- Protect adjacent surfaces, clean surface; strip wax with Double Stripping if waxed
- Run a preliminary test; surface dry or at most slightly damp, out of direct sunlight
- Apply ready-to-use product covering the stain completely (thick layer for longer treatments)
- Leave to act: 5-20 min superficial rust, 30-45 min medium, max 1 h deep stains
- Remove product (squeegee then towels/cloths on large areas), then apply OXIDANT for at least twice as long to remove the purple compound
- Rinse with water and wait until completely dry before foot traffic; repeat if needed

Before you start:
- Never use on wet surfaces; never mix with other chemicals
