DENSI-SHIELD 800

Water Based

High-performance water-based densifier to boost stone hardness, strength & durability after 800-grit grinding.

Category:

Description

DENSI-SHIELD 800 is a premium, ready-to-use, water-based densifying solution designed to improve the strength and durability of natural stone surfaces. Applied after grinding at 800 grit, it penetrates deep into the stone, increasing its density and making it more resistant to wear and tear. Ideal for high-traffic areas, it enhances surface longevity without altering the stone’s natural appearance. Multiple applications may be needed for softer stones. Regular cleaning is recommended. Ensure proper ventilation and protective measures during application.

FAQs

How does Densi-Shield 800 work?

Densi-Shield 800 densifies and strengthens concrete, making it more resistant to abrasion, moisture, and chemical exposure.

No, it is not a sealing product. Regular cleaning of treated surfaces is recommended for maintenance.

No, it enhances strength and density without altering the natural look of the stone.

Densi Shield 800 is formulated for natural stone substrates—marble, granite, limestone, sandstone, and terrazzo floors—applied post–800-grit grinding for both indoor and outdoor installations.

By deeply penetrating the stone’s micro-capillaries and chemically reacting to increase density, Densi Shield 800 reduces porosity and blocks absorption of liquids, thereby minimizing stain-forming agents from entering the substrate.

Yes. Although roller or brush application ensures controlled coverage, Densi Shield 800 may also be applied with a low-pressure sprayer. Immediately back-roll or brush to eliminate puddling and achieve uniform penetration.

While Densi Shield 800 increases surface density and offers improved resistance to moisture and light contaminants, it is not a dedicated stain-repellent sealer. For robust oil and grease protection, a water-repellent sealing treatment should be applied after densification.
