FAQs
What is FS ENHANCE & PROTECT + and how does this penetrating sealer work?
FS ENHANCE & PROTECT + is a solvent-free, next-generation penetrating sealer that forms no visible layer. It penetrates deeply to intensify natural color while maintaining the substrate’s natural feel, delivering a two-in-one color enhancer and stain protector.
Which substrates can FS ENHANCE & PROTECT + be used on (stone sealer / terracotta sealer)?
It is suitable for absorbent and dense mineral-based interior and exterior substrates such as Marble, Granite, Limestone, Sandstone, Slate, Terracotta, Concrete, Terrazzo, table and counter tops, basins, panels, facades, window sills and terraces.
Will FS ENHANCE & PROTECT + change the appearance gloss, matt or wet look?
Yes. FS ENHANCE & PROTECT + provides excellent color enhancement; you can achieve a wet look (gloss) or a matt effect. It intensifies colors without creating a surface film and retains the substrate’s natural touch.
What are the application timings and removal of excess for porous vs dense substrates?
For porous/absorbent substrates, remove excess material 10–15 minutes after application. For low-porosity or dense substrates, remove excess after 30–35 minutes. To obtain a glossy finish, remove excess after the first coat and leave excess after the final coat on low-porosity/dense substrates, as described in the product instructions.
What are the coverage, packing and storage details for FS ENHANCE & PROTECT +?
Coverage: Porous/absorbent substrates - 45–55 g/sq.m.
Low porosity/dense substrates - 60–70 g/sq.m.
Shelf life: 1 year from date of manufacture. Store the material in a cool, dry place away from sun/heat.
