Description

HIDROFAB is a water-based wax-resin emulsion to use as a self-polishing, finishing treatment for floors in natural stone, cotto, terracotta, parquet, natural wood, or concrete. The product seals the textured surface, creating a dirt-proof layer and making daily cleaning and maintenance operations on the floor much easier.

FAQs

What is HIDROFAB used for?

HIDROFAB is a water-based wax-resin emulsion used for treating floors made of natural stone, cotto, terracotta, concrete, and even natural wood.

Yes, HIDROFAB creates a dirt-proof layer on the surface, making daily cleaning and maintenance much easier and preventing dirt build-up.

HIDROFAB slightly enhances the original color tone of the material while giving the surface a polished finish.

HIDROFAB is designed for use on both indoor and outdoor surfaces, but make sure to apply it in well-ventilated areas for optimal results.

Apply HIDROFAB with a clean cloth or applicator, evenly spreading it over the surface. Allow it to dry and polish for a high-quality finish.

After application, HIDROFAB’s film is dry to the touch in 1–2 hours.

You can resume normal foot traffic and furniture placement after about 4–6 hours from when you applied it.

Yes. Because HIDROFAB is a wax-resin finish, you strip it off just like other wax treatments—using a Faber wax-stripper product. For instance:

COTTOSOLV (a concentrated alkaline degreaser) is specifically recommended for stripping wax, resin, polymers and previous treatments.

You can also use DEC 21 (solvent-based wax stripper) for deep “double-wax” removal.

Follow the stripper’s instructions: apply, agitate, then rinse clean to fully remove the HIDROFAB layer.

HIDROFAB remains fully effective for up to 24 months when kept in its original, tightly sealed container and stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or frost. For precise storage recommendations and shelf-life confirmation, please refer to the product’s Technical Data Sheet.
