Flagstone Fix W-Drop is a water-based, VOC-free rising damp sealer for stone that protects natural stone from rising humidity. It penetrates deeply for durable protection while preserving breathability and leaving the stone’s appearance unchanged. It sits in the Flagstone Fix stone protection range.
How the rising damp sealer works
W-DROP is a water-based, VOC-free, water-resistant treatment that protects natural stone surfaces from rising humidity. The product penetrates deeply into the material, providing durable protection while preserving the surface’s natural breathability. Its formulation ensures long-lasting performance without altering the stone’s appearance
Coverage: about 10–15 m² (108–161 sq ft) per litre per coat, according to Faber’s technical data sheet. Actual coverage depends on how absorbent the surface is. Work out how much you need with our coverage calculator.
How to use
- Clean surface, removing dust and dirt; protect areas not to be treated
- Treat top and edges first: spread product evenly
- Within 5-10 minutes, before it dries, even out residues with cloth, lambswool applicator or roller
- Wait 1-2 hours to dry, then treat the bottom
- Immersion option: immerse 15 seconds to 2 minutes, then remove residue with squeegee, dry cloth or lambswool
- If residue dries, remove with single-disc machine or hand polisher with cloth/white pad and water
