Description
Flagstone Fix Back Protector is a solvent-based stone back sealer for natural and artificial stone, applied before installation to guard against grout and cement stains. It penetrates micropores to form an invisible, breathable, UV-resistant barrier that repels grout, cement and dirt with little or no change to the appearance of most stones (quartzite and serpentine show a clear colour enhancement) and simplifies post-installation cleaning.
How the stone back sealer works
Back Protector is a high-performance, solvent-based stain protection treatment designed for pre-installation use on natural and artificial stones. It penetrates deep into micropores, creating an invisible, breathable barrier that repels grout, cement, and dirt stains with little or no change to the natural appearance of most stones. Its UV-resistant formula ensures long-lasting protection while allowing moisture to escape. Suitable for various stone types, it enhances durability and simplifies post-installation cleaning. Proper ventilation is required during application, and multiple coats may be needed for highly absorbent surfaces. Wipe off any unabsorbed excess after about 20 minutes, and wait 4 to 7 days before laying treated slabs in a mortar bed. It sits in the Flagstone Fix stone protection range.
