Yes. MA 90 provides excellent water-repellent and stain-proof protection. Once cured, its solvent-based film blocks liquid penetration and helps prevent staining from water, oils, and other common contaminants.

The cured MA 90 film is UV-resistant (won’t yellow over time) and remains effective until the finish is worn by abrasion or mechanical polishing. Simply monitor the stone’s appearance—and reapply MA 90 when you notice the protective sheen diminishing.

MA 90 is not certified for direct food-contact applications. For kitchen counters or surfaces in contact with food, we recommend a food-safe, FDA-approved sealer such as PROTEX, specifically formulated and certified for food-contact safety.
