Description
Flagstone Fix MASTIC SOFT is a two-component soft polyester stone mastic made from unsaturated polyester resin in styrene with mineral fillers. Its soft consistency suits vertical surfaces and the cured finish machines, sands and polishes.
FS MASTIC SOFT is a two-component adhesive composed of unsaturated polyester resin dissolved in styrene, with added mineral fillers. It is specifically designed for bonding natural and engineered stones. Its soft consistency makes it particularly suitable for vertical surface applications, delivering a seamless, defect-resistant finish that machines, sands, and polishes to a perfect sheen. Use 1–4% hardener by weight and keep layers no thicker than 2 mm.
Cleanup is simplified by using Epoxy Remover to clear tools of residual resin.
How to use
- Make sure the surface is clean and lightly abraded
- Add up to 5% polyester colour paste if you want to tint it
- Mix 1 to 4 g of soft hardener per 100 g of mastic and blend thoroughly
- Apply in layers no thicker than 2 mm; for deep holes, corners and edges, use less hardener to limit heat build-up
- Work or process the surface after 6 to 8 hours

Before you start:
- Wear chemical-resistant gloves
- Too little hardener can greatly delay curing
- Joints exposed to frequent moisture or frost have limited long-term durability
