Faber DISYCOTT is a cement remover for tiles: a concentrated acid-based cleaner that lifts cement and grout haze, dirt, salts, limescale and efflorescence after installation. Use it on acid-resistant tiles such as ceramic, porcelain and granite, never on marble or limestone.

DISYCOTT is a highly concentrated, acid-based, end-of-installation cleaner to remove residues of cement-based grout, dirt, and inorganic residues such as salts, limescale, and efflorescence.

DISYCOTT formula contains inhibited acids and specific cleaning agents that have made it possible to replace the muriatic acid normally used to clean after installation.

Where to use DISYCOTT

Acid-resistant surfaces only, such as ceramic, porcelain, granite, acid-resistant stone, cotto and terracotta, typically for after-installation cleaning. Not for marble, limestone or other acid-sensitive stone.

How to use

Test on an unexposed area; work max 4-5 m2 at a time on absorbent surfaces
Dilute 1:2 in water for salts/efflorescence, or 1:4 for post-installation cleaning of low-absorbing materials
Spread evenly with a single-disc machine or large brush
Leave 10-15 minutes, working it now and then
Add clean water to emulsify, remove with a wet vacuum, rinse thoroughly; use once dry

Dilution	1:2 in water (30-40%) for salts/efflorescence; 1:4 (20%) for post-installation cleaning
Drying and curing	contact 10-15 min; open to use once dry
Tools	single-disc machine or large brush; white pad (glazed ceramics) or green/light blue pad (cotto, terracotta); wet vacuum

Before you start:

Do not use on acid-sensitive materials
Test on an unexposed area first; not on wet surfaces
