What Zain works on
- Stone restoration. Assessing and restoring surfaces affected by scratches, etching, dullness, staining, wear and weathering, using the right honing, polishing and surface correction method for each stone.
- Surface protection. Choosing professional impregnating sealers and protective treatments that cut water and oil absorption and staining, while keeping the stone’s natural look.
- Damage diagnosis. Identifying surface defects, chemical damage, mineral deposits, moisture problems and the effects of wrong cleaning products, then recommending a correction based on the stone’s composition, porosity and condition.
- Architectural stone care. Post-installation cleaning, surface preparation, finishing and protection for residential, commercial and hospitality projects.
- Maintenance planning. Practical care routines that keep the finish longer, avoid unnecessary restoration and lower the long-term cost of looking after stone.
His approach: diagnose, restore, protect, preserve
Zain’s method starts with the stone, not the product. Before recommending any treatment, he looks at the stone’s mineral make-up, its finish, where it is installed and how it has been treated before. That avoids the three most common causes of damage he sees: unnecessary grinding, chemicals that do not suit the stone, and aggressive treatments that give a quick shine but shorten the life of the surface.
- Diagnose: identify the stone and the real cause of the problem.
- Restore: correct the surface with the least invasive method that works.
- Protect: seal or treat the stone to suit its porosity and use.
- Preserve: leave a simple care routine so the result lasts.

“Good stone care is not just about bringing back the shine. It is about understanding the material, respecting its natural character and protecting it for the long term.”
